Christmas Eve in Colonial Williamburg

Town folk decked out in Colonial garb carry torches across
the green in front of the Governor's Palace.
In front of the Governor's Palace, the torch bearer's
join up with a Colonial style marching band.
Flanked by the torch bearer's, the marching band cuts through the massive crowd toward the Armoury and continues down the street.
In front of the armoury, up to four cannons were firing
at at time, ringing in the Christmas Holiday.
As the night continued to fall, candles and programs where handed out. People gathered, laughed, sang, listened to stories, and awaited the lighting of the town Christmas tree.
And here are a couple of familiar looking carolers now.
